Created as a special edition for LOOK UP Times Square in Venice, this luxurious silk scarf transforms the expressive artwork of contemporary artist Lindsey Nobel into a wearable work of art.

Nobel's composition unfolds through an intricate network of fluid lines, translucent forms, and sweeping gestures in deep navy, coral, yellow, seafoam, and soft earth tones. The imagery evokes movement, connection, and an ever-changing flow of energy—ideas central to Nobel's artistic practice. Printed on silk, the artwork takes on another dimension as the fabric moves, folds, and catches the light.

The composition is surrounded by a sophisticated deep navy border with fine architectural framing, creating the impression of an artwork held within a frame. The lower right border carries the commemorative inscription:

The design for this limited-edition scarf is drawn from Lindsey Nobel’s celebrated Gridded People series, a body of work that explores the evolving relationship between humanity, technology, communication, and the networks that increasingly shape contemporary life. Through her distinctive use of interconnected lines, grids, and human forms, Nobel creates a visual language that considers how individuals exist within—and are transformed by—our rapidly expanding digital world.

Translated from the original artwork into silk, the intricate networks and layered imagery of the Gridded People series take on a new dimension as a wearable and collectible work of art.

This special scarf was created on the occasion of LOOK UP Times Square's presentation at Personal Structures: Confluences, organized by the European Cultural Centre at Palazzo Mora in Venice and curated by Rachel Vancelette. The exhibition brings together an international community of artists and cultural voices during the 2026 Venice Biennale period.

Designed to move between fashion and fine art, the scarf can be worn, collected, or framed as an artwork in its own right—a lasting piece of the LOOK UP Venice presentation.
