Created by curator Rachel Vancelette for the LOOK UP Times Square Fundraiser, The Pleiadian Celestial Map emerged from her dreams of seeing LOOK UP expand across the world—connecting people, cultures and creative communities through art.
Inspired by the Pleiades star cluster, often called the Seven Sisters, the design unfolds across a midnight-blue sky illuminated by constellations, planetary orbits and antique-gold celestial details. It represents imagination without borders and the belief that, when we look beyond ourselves, new possibilities can emerge.
The scarf is completed with “Vancelette Signature” in elegant calligraphic script. Designed as a collectible work of wearable art, it can be worn, displayed or framed. Known for her historic designs in both jewelry and handbags, Vancelette Signaure appears as the landmark signature.
Proceeds support the continued development, exhibitions, public programming and international expansion of LOOK UP Times Square.
