Featuring imagery from Karen Bystedt’s iconic The Lost Warhols series, this silk scarf transforms the artist’s celebrated portrait of Andy Warhol into a collectible work designed to be worn, displayed, framed, and treasured.
Bystedt’s series originated from her 1982 portrait session with Warhol at The Factory in New York. Rediscovered years later, the photographs became the foundation for an evolving body of work exploring photography, appropriation, color, transformation, and artistic collaboration across generations.
Created for LOOK UP Times Square’s journey from New York to Venice, this edition extends Bystedt’s imagery into a wearable format while connecting contemporary art, photography, fashion, and New York cultural history.
