Art x Puzzles' first special monthly dedication is for gallerist Yvon Lambert who has represented top contemporary artists from around the world. Art x Puzzles' special dedication is to gallerist Yvon Lambert and notes his contribution to international art and culture. In 1966, Yvon Lambert opened his first gallery on the Rue de L'Échaudé in Paris, France where he first began to exhibit American artists. He exhibited the founders of conceptualism, minimalism
Contemporary Artists: Andres Serrano, Carlos Amorales, Idris Khan, Kay Rosen, Loris Gréaud, Louise Lawler, Melvin Martinez, Miltos Manetas, Mircea Cantor, Pedro Reyes and additional key contemporary artists have been part of YL gallerys' remarkable history.
YL Gallery was located in both Paris and New York City before closing its doors in 2016. The gallery has been noted by many top art historians, curators and writers and well known for its contribution to dynamic contemporary history. With a unique global selection of top contemporary artists, this special dedication recognizes the legendary collector and gallerist's historical contribution to the arts.
The Art x Puzzles dedication series will be an on-going series launching new jigsaw puzzles monthly. We continue to select and invite other contemporary artists who were represented and worked with Yvon Lambert.
