LOOK UP TIMES SQUARE | Venice Limited-Edition Silk Scarf — Rossella Vasta

Art, symbolism, and fashion come together in this limited-edition silk scarf featuring the work of internationally exhibited artist Rossella Vasta, created in celebration of LOOK UP TIMES SQUARE | Venice.

Vasta’s artistic practice is deeply rooted in themes of human connection, collective memory, spirituality, peace, and the shared human experience. Translated onto silk, her artwork becomes an intimate and wearable expression of these ideas—transforming the traditional art object into something that can be experienced, worn, and carried into the world.

This special scarf was created on the occasion of LOOK UP TIMES SQUARE’s presentation at Palazzo Mora in Venice, as part of Personal Structures: Confluences, presented by the European Cultural Centre (ECC) during the 2026 Venice Biennale. Curated by Rachel Vancelette, LOOK UP brings together an international community of artists and cultural voices around a simple but powerful invitation: to literally and metaphorically LOOK UP.

The design for this limited-edition scarf is drawn from Rossella Vasta’s original painting Blue Blossom (2025), an oil on canvas measuring 11.81 x 15.75 inches (30 x 40 cm). Translated from canvas into silk, the scarf captures the expressive color, movement, and painterly qualities of Vasta’s original composition, transforming Blue Blossom into a wearable and collectible work of art.

Rossella Vasta’s participation holds a particularly meaningful connection to the spirit of the project. Her work has long explored art as a vehicle for dialogue, contemplation, and unity—values that resonate with LOOK UP’s mission to bring art beyond traditional boundaries and into shared public and cultural spaces.
