Klagsbrun’s luminous composition transforms beautifully onto silk, with layers of translucent aqua, turquoise, silver, and earthy brown evoking water, movement, reflection, and passage. A sophisticated silver border frames the artwork, while the artist’s signature and the inscription “LOOK UP TIMES SQUARE | Palazzo Mora Venice | Micheline Klagsbrun”commemorate this special edition.
The design for this limited-edition scarf is drawn from Micheline Klagsbrun’s original work Pathway of Reflection(2026), a sculptural installation created from resin, found objects, ink, and paper. Variable in its installation, the work extends to approximately 102 x 12 x 0.5 inches (259.08 x 30.48 x 1.27 cm) and transforms layers of imagery and material into a continuous visual pathway.
Translated into silk, Pathway of Reflection takes on an entirely new form, transforming Klagsbrun’s sculptural language into a wearable and collectible work of art. The scarf captures the work’s sense of movement, layering, memory, and discovery, inviting the viewer to follow its visual journey much as one encounters the original installation.
The scarf was created on the occasion of LOOK UP TIMES SQUARE’s presentation at Palazzo Mora in Venice, as part of Personal Structures: Confluences, presented by the European Cultural Centre (ECC) during the 2026 Venice Biennale. Curated by Rachel Vancelette, LOOK UP brings together an international group of artists and cultural voices in an immersive project exploring connection, creativity, and the invitation to quite literally—and metaphorically—LOOK UP.
More than an accessory, the scarf is a wearable work of art and a collectible object marking the Venice presentation. It can be worn traditionally, draped as an art piece, or framed and displayed.
